Abilities — The Core of Ability Wars
Ability Wars revolves around 104 unique abilities, each with distinct E, Q, and R moves plus passive effects. Most abilities cost Punches to unlock, while others require Badge achievements or secret discovery methods.
Understanding ability categories helps you plan your progression. Punch abilities form the main unlock path, Badge abilities gate powerful options behind achievements, and Secret abilities reward exploration and creative methods.
Badges & Mastery Progression
Badges are achievement milestones that unlock abilities, emotes, and bragging rights. With over 30 badges available, collecting them all is a major endgame goal. Since codes were removed, many exclusive emotes now come from Badge completions.
Mastery enhances specific abilities with upgraded moves after reaching 5,000 Punches and completing ability-specific challenges. There are 17 masteries including Portal, Lemon, Engineer, and Bomb — each offering significant power upgrades.
Punch Grinding Roadmap
Punches are the primary currency earned by hitting other players. Your progression path typically follows: unlock Robot at 1,000 Punches for easy farming, earn the Warrior badge for Army at 11,000+, then switch to Army or Alchemist Mastery for maximum Punch income.
Game passes dramatically accelerate progress. The 3x Punches pass (300 Robux) is the best first purchase, tripling earnings per hit. The 2x Mastery pass helps once you focus on mastery variants.
Maps, Locations & Official Trello
Ability Wars rotates between arena maps, each with unique landmarks like the Cave, Pool, Cabin, and Crystal Cavern. Secret areas including the Backrooms, Astral Dimension, and Lemon Maze hide badge rewards and mastery unlocks.
